General Registration Information

Kindergarten

Students entering kindergarten must be 5 years of age on or before Sept. 1, 2005. All kindergarten students will attend South Prairie Elementary School. Students will not be registered without birth certificate, immunization records and name/phone number of emergency contact.

New Students

Parents enrolling students for the first time in Tillamook Schools are required to bring current immunization information, phone numbers of people to contact in case of an emergency, and name/address of previous school. If available, please bring proof of current physical examination and student's Social Security number. Parents will receive school information and pay fees at the time of registration. Money may also be deposited to student lunch accounts.

Returning Students

Parents with students returning to Tillamook Schools are requested to come in and update records, receive school information, pay fees and deposit money in student lunch accounts. By coming in, you confirm that your child will be attending.

Liberty Elementary School (842-7501), Grade 1-3 Students

New and returning students: Monday through Wednesday, Aug. 22- 24, 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3 p.m.

South Prairie Elementary School (842-8401), K-3 Grade Students

New and returning students: Monday through Wednesday, Aug. 22- 24, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

East Elementary School (842-7544), 4-6 Grade Students

New and returning students: Wednesday through Friday, Aug. 17 - 19, 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m.

Students may register on any one of these dates. All students need to register. Call the school if your child will not be returning to East Elementary.

Tillamook Junior High School (842-7531)

Students new to District No. 9: Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 15-16, 8 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m.

Returning students: Wednesday and Thursday, Aug. 17-18, 8:00-11:30 and 1:00-3:00.

If you are unable to follow the above schedule, please call the school and make arrangements to come in at a later date or mail your paperwork and check made payable to TJHS.

Tillamook High School (842-2566)

New and returning students: Tuesday through Thursday, Aug. 23- 25, 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Location: Main Entrance.

Tillamook Options Programs (TOPS) (842-7538)

Students will register at their regular school according to the schedule above and will also need to come in and register at TOPS Tuesday, Sept. 6, between 1 and 6 p.m. In addition, parent/guardian and students are required to meet with the program director prior to the student's first day of school (Sept. 8, 2005). Call the school office at 842-7538, Monday-Friday, between 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. to schedule a date and time. Registration information includes: Current Address, Emergency Contacts, Medical Information, Student School ID Number, Permission Slips.
