Born on January 13, 1945 to Mary Henrietta Johns in Thomasville, GA, she was adopted at birth by Carolyn and Clark Wright who were then serving in the Army at Finley General Hospital. They moved to Portland soon after. Lynda graduated from Beaverton High School and married in 1964, then moved to Hawaii where she raised three boys. In 1986, she moved to her family property on the Trask River in Tillamook. Lynda loved the area and had wanted to live there since childhood. Her house, the Trask, and Tillamook were her life. She loved the outdoors, her solitude, her dogs and her sons.
She enjoyed reading, fishing, gardening, and spending time with her granddaughters. Lynda is survived by her sons Marc and Scott, granddaughters Cameron, Jenna, Claire, and Emma, and half brother Lloyd Benjamin Davis. Donations will be accepted to the Osteoporosis Foundation. She lies in rest at Sunset Heights Memorial Gardens on the Trask River Road.
