Jean Marie Weslow Mock was born March 16, 1928 to Etha Muno and Joseph F. Weslow and passed away May 29, 2019 in Netarts, Oregon.
She graduated high school and worked a short time at 1st National Bank in Toledo, OR. and for a year as cashier at J.C. Penny Co. in Toledo, OR. Jean and Frank Mock married and had five children between them; Deanna, Taze, Frankie, Tom and Elaine.
They moved to Netarts, Oregon in 1950 and built their home there. Family was the center of Jeans life. She was a stay at home mom and belonged to several community organizations. She was a member of P.T.A. and room mother for all the children through their elementary school years. Jean was a member of Netarts Community Club and Blue Bird Leader, a charter member of Netarts Fireman’s Auxiliary and Nea Rock Home Extension group, a member of Tops Club, Christian Women’s Group and several P.T.A. groups.
Jean worked on the Local and County election boards and was a member of Neighborhood Ladies Social Group.
Jean was preceded in death by her mother and father, infant sister Mary, younger brother Bill, daughter Deanna, grandsons Nichalos and Jeremy and her husband Frank.
A private family graveside service was held at Sunset Heights Memorial Garden Cemetery in Tillamook.
She hopes everyone she knew will remember her as they knew her.
