Recent earthquakes, as close as Otis, motivate me to continue steps towards disaster preparedness each week. I’m sharing my progress in this space; we can prepare together for the coming “big one.” This week I’m including more from the article written by a hurricane survivor. He suggests that some items may actually serve as cash in the aftermath of a disaster. He recommends stocking up on toilet tissue. Watch this space next week; the list continues.

Happy birthday this week to: Bill Chance, Jackson Fitch, Terry Goss, Debbie Hale, Violet Hale, Averie Hancock, Tony Hancock, Jessica Haslam, Jill Slavens, Cindy McKillip, Todd Peterson, Katarina Scott, Isaiah Shores, Mike Streeter, Derrell Wheeler and Tyler Zeller.
