Spring Term registration is open at Tillamook Bay Community College with classes beginning April 6. All courses will be taught Online to comply with an executive order established by Governor Kate Brown to not offer face-to-face instruction on college campuses until April 28.
TBCC has been offering Online classes for nearly a decade with some degree options available completely Online. Additional support for students will be offered during the term to assist those who do not have an internet connection at home.
“We recognize these are unprecedented times,” states Dr. Ross Tomlin, TBCC President. “We know not all students have a computer and internet connection at home. To help with this we are expanding our computer check-out program and our library, with computer terminals and internet connection, will be open during the term with social distancing being observed. Our IT staff is working to establish an internet Hot Spot in our parking lot as well,” he said. “We have Online tutoring available and our faculty and staff are ready to help students be successful. We are ready to serve students.”
The campus is closed to the public March 23-April 3 but students can still speak with a student services team member by calling (503) 842-8222 ext. 1100, or emailing email@example.com.
