More than 800 people attended last year’s inaugural festival; Crave the Coast is a finalist in Sunset Magazine’s Reader’s Choice Awards for Best Food Festival.
What: Crave the Coast returns for the second year to treat visitors to the bounty of Oregon’s North Coast. The passion, collaboration and creativity of producers, fishers, harvesters, brewers, winemakers, cheesemakers and chefs have turned this part of the North Coast into a culinary destination. The festival will feature dozens of local food and beverage producers, food trucks serving fish n’ chips, chowder and mac n’ cheese, cooking demonstrations, prize giveaways and an opportunity to meet the makers.
When: Sept. 28, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Under the big event tent in Garibaldi on Tillamook Bay. From Hwy 101 in Garibaldi, turn south onto Third Street, toward the bay, to find the event tent.
