The 38th annual Clover’s Day Parade and associated attractions will take place in picturesque small town Cloverdale on Saturday, July 6. The event kicks off at 7:00am with a 5K foot race starting from the bridge, followed by a country breakfast in the Nestucca Valley High School cafeteria from 7:30am-10:30am. Handicapped parking is available.
Led by Rosie the Holstein dairy cow, the parade begins at 11:00 am at South End Motors, proceeding North to the Feed Store. Featured in the parade will be the Grand Marshall, the Tillamook County Dairy Princess-Ambassador, the Rodeo Queen, members of the Grand Ronde tribe carrying the colors, and a variety of vintage vehicles including classic cars, hot rods, motorcycles, retro-rods, trucks . Participating merchants and vendors include Istanbul Carpet Bazaar, the Burkhardt Gallery, The Rusty Cow, Meg’s Café with a patio beer garden, The Thomas Goodwin Gallery, Katie’s Korner Café, Central Market, Nestucca Bay Creamery, and others. Featured will be original art by local artists, antiques, hand-woven rugs and weaving demonstrations. For children there will be face painting, a bouncy house, buggy rides and a petting zoo with miniature horses. Featured foods include elephant ear pastries, Tillamook Ice Cream and home-made ice cream and floats. Live country music will be provided by Hayseed immediately following the parade until 3:00pm.
