Terry Roger Tone passed away on Feb. 29, 2012. He was born on July 29, 1940 in Tillamook to James Daniel Tone and Lela May Smith.

Terry was born and raised in Tillamook and graduated from Tillamook High School in 1959. Upon graduation, Terry served his country in the Army for three years. After his time in the service, he married Kathleen Smith and they raised their three children in Tigard.

Once their children were grown, Terry returned to Tillamook and pursued his true passion of being a fishing guide. He leaves behind several warm and colorful friends who spent countless hours with him on the water. Fall Chinook season will not be the same without him. Terry is survived by his two daughters, Claudia Sessums and Brenda Tone and son, James Tone, eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

To Terry's family and friends he was a rock in times of rough seas. His smile and presence will be forever missed but remembered in every sunrise.
