Lois E Peterson, 76, Cloverdale, passed away peacefully in her home with husband Gus (Bud) by her side.
Born July of 1937 in Holcombe, Wis. to Benjamin and Ruth Luethi. She joined in marriage with Gus (Bud) Peterson Dec. 19, 1955. Lois owned the Shellgame in Cloverdale for 26 years, celebrating the anniversary last July with family from Minnesota and Wisconsin visiting. She was a member of The Oregon Society of Conchologists. A gifted crafter,she blessed many with beautiful handmade items. She was an active promoter of the community. Lois is survived by husband, Gus (Bud); daughters Roberta (Dan) LaForge, Ruby Eileen Benson (Ray Schlosser); grandchildren Francis(Amber), Matt, Luke and Clint (Bri); great grandson Evan, also Courtney (Jordan) Giedd and Troy Schlosser; sister Mary (David) Hagstrom; nieces, nephews andmany dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Dean and Bill. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014 between the hours of 1 and 3 p.m. Arrangements are in care of Waud’s Funeral Home.
